Combining creativity with business is definitely a hard thing to do, but when you can successfully do so it’s very rewarding. Being in the graphic/web design field, I find it can be difficult to associate costs with creative works, but I have to do so to make a living, haha.

Having read “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten.” I’ve got to think about it a while.

Yes… you are right but it is so difficult to change.

It’s about feeling comfortable with what you know, staying in your safe zone, slightly scared to do something different.

Blogging is a great way to “allow your mind to flow in new directions”, you have to learn new things, do new things and try new things.
Does that make us creative?

It reminds me of Richard Branson! I remember what he said during ASPEN IDEAS FESTIVAL in 2007. He was asked by Bob Schieffer why he had gone into business. What Richard thought and said was: “I suddenly realized I had never been interested in being in business. I have been interested in creating things”
